A: Data compression on the PocketSurfer reduces the amount of data sent through the mobile phone signal to improve your wireless data download time by a factor of 4 to 10 times and the web is seen in its original format, original layout and full graphics within guaranteed page views of 5-7 seconds. The exact level of data compression varies on which website you are viewing.
A: Most sites will load within 5-7 seconds where other cellular devices can take minutes. Surfing speed is similar to ‘Basic DSL’ Broadband service. Discussions of kb/sec are not relevant to the PocketSurfer because of the compression and acceleration technology used.
